Password resets, account lockouts, and account status.
Password Reset
If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it from the login page:
- Click Forgot Password
- Enter the email address associated with your account
- Check your email for a password reset link
- Click the link and set a new password
Account Lockout
To protect your account, UpLogic locks accounts after 5 consecutive failed login attempts. When locked out:
- You’ll see a message indicating your account is temporarily locked
- The lockout lasts 15 minutes and then unlocks automatically
- You can also unlock your account immediately by resetting your password
Account Paused State
When your account is paused, all monitoring is stopped — your monitors will not run checks or send notifications.
What Causes a Paused Account
Your account can be paused for two reasons:
- Payment failure — A charge to your payment method was declined or failed
- Cancellation — Your subscription ended after you cancelled
How to Resolve
- Payment failure — Update your payment method through the Stripe customer portal (click Manage Billing on the Account page). Once the payment succeeds, monitoring resumes automatically.
- Cancellation — Subscribe to a new plan from the Account page. See Billing & Subscriptions for details on resubscribing.
